About Me
I'm Sheetal Patwardhan, a longtime Seattle resident, Montessori teacher, and passionate vocalist/music educator. I’m the founder of Siara School of Music, where I teach Indian classical and light music to children and adults—both in-person and online.
My musical journey began at age 6 and has spanned multiple genres, including Marathi light vocal, Bollywood, Tamil, and Malayalam music. I've had the privilege of receiving guidance and sharing the stage with renowned artists like Mahesh Kale, Kaushiki Chakraborty, Saleel Kulkarni, and Shridhar Phadke, Anand Bhate, Devaki Pandit, Bharathi Prathap and regularly perform at events hosted by the Seattle Maharashtra Mandal.
In addition to performing, I enjoy emceeing music events and serving as a board member for organizations like Ragamala, Para Share Entertainments, and Seattle Maharashtra Mandal. These platforms help promote Indian music through concerts, community outreach, and workshops. I've also organized educational sessions with artists such as Anand Bhate, Aditya Oke, and Mahesh Kale.
Blending music and community is at the heart of what I do, and I’m grateful to share this journey through performance, teaching, and cultural engagement.
